The Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) announced their special awards and All-OAC teams on Friday afternoon for the 2021-22 season. Three Raiders, Christian Parker, Ethan Stanislawski and Braedon Poole all earned All-OAC selections for their contributions to Mount Union’s 23-3 season. Parker and Stanislawski earned All-OAC first team selections while Poole earned All-OAC second team honors. 

Christian Parker is averaging 19.4 PPG and 8.5 RPG, leading the team in both categories. The sophomore from Canton GlenOak High School is also second in the entire conference in points and rebounds per game. Parker is also shooting 62.5% from the floor this season, good for 2nd in the OAC. Parker has earned multiple OAC Player of the Week honors throughout the season and was named a D3 National Player of the Week at one point as well. This is Parker’s first All-OAC honor of his career. 

Ethan Stanislawski earns All-OAC honors for the second time in his Mount Union career after receiving honorable mention honors last season. Stanislawski is averaging 13 PPG for the Raiders this season while also dishing out 4.8 APG. He also leads the entire conference in assists per game this season. Stanislawski also leads the team in three point shooting percentage, shooting around 42% for the season which is good for 7th in the conference. 

Braedon Poole also earns All-OAC honors for the second time in his career. Poole earned All-OAC first team honors last season. On the year, Poole has averaged 12.5 PPG and 8.2 RPG. He currently is 4th in the OAC in rebounds per game. Poole has also excelled defensively this season, setting a new school record with 48 blocks on the season and leads the team in steals. Overall, Poole is 2nd in the OAC in blocks per game and 1st in steals per game. 

The Mount Union Purple Raiders are currently ranked 8th in the country and will be competing for the OAC Championship on Saturday night against the 2nd ranked Marietta Pioneers.
