As we approach election day it is so incredibly important to know who we are voting for. In this article will be the full list of candidates running both federally and locally for Stark County. Each candidate is listed as well as their party affiliation when applicable. There will also be a summary of some of the candidates' bigger talking points as well as where to find more information about their platform. Remember it is so important to vote and even more important to know who you are voting for. So please educate yourselves and vote!

Biden leads electoral college 264 to 214 according NPR

Joe Biden and Kamala Harris

Some of Biden and Harris’ bigger platform points in this election include beating Covid-19, Job and economic recovery, racial equity, climate change, and affordable healthcare amongst other things. On Biden's official website he talks about his goals to accomplish these tasks.

Donald Trump and Mike Pence

Trump and Pence have platform points focusing on the economy and jobs, eradicating Covid-19, healthcare, “draining the swamp”, education, and ending our reliance on China amongst other issues.

Jo Jorgensen and Spike Cohen

Jorgensen and Cohen’s platform wants to address Covid-19, healthcare, criminal justice reform, social security, poverty, and taxes as well as other issues.
